EU Anti-Dumping

When the EU's anti-dumping measures against China and Vietnam's leather shoes are about to reach a two-year period, there is a call for delay in the EU.

A few days ago, Vito Artioli Artioli Vito, chairman of the Italy footwear industry association ANCI, told the media that Italy should request the EU to extend the anti-dumping period in view of the EU anti-dumping measures imposed on China and Vietnam footwear products will expire in October 6, 2008.

This is not the first time Italy has asked such a request.

In March 2007, the European footwear Federation asked the Italy government to extend an anti-dumping duty to China and Vietnam to the European Union.
