Shoe industry is one of the three pillar industries in Houjie town. It is also the upgrading demonstration zone of Guangdong industrial cluster and the first batch of Dongguan's key supporting industrial clusters.

At present, 180 shoe enterprises in Houjie Town have set up R & D institutions, including 7 open service R & D centers, 120 technological innovation and pformation projects, and 48 production and research achievements pformation projects.

Spectators visited the procurement, built 6 shoe products markets, and 12 shoes materials markets, including 4 trade streets, such as Laos, Chen shoes, electronics, shoes, trade, 1 belts, and leather products such as Laos and leather products. They attracted thousands of domestic and foreign shoe manufacturers, including the United States, Brazil and Japan.
